WHAT WE'RE ABOUT
Church180 KW exists to reach the lost, raise up disciples, and build the local church. Founded by Pastor Keigel and his family after moving to Kitchener-Waterloo in 2022, the church is committed to creating a welcoming, family-like community. Their mission is to see lives transformed through the hope, gospel, and love of Christ while building meaningful relationships and impactful ministries.
As a Bible-based, Spirit-filled, Christ-following church, Church180 KW is passionate about sharing the good news of Jesus and witnessing God’s transformative work in the region.
CHURCH180 KW STATEMENT OF FAITH
CREEDAL STATEMENT
We Believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy.
We Believe that sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives.
We Believe that the Lord Jesus Christ as both God and man is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life.
We Believe that in order to receive forgiveness and the “new birth”, we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to His will for our lives.
We Believe that in order to live the holy and fruitful lives that God intends for us, we need to be baptized in water and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit enables us to use spiritual gifts, including speaking in tongues.
We Believe in the power and significance of the Church and the necessity of believers to meet regularly together for fellowship, prayer and the “breaking of bread”.
We Believe that God has individually equipped us so that we can successfully achieve His purpose for our lives which is to worship God, fulfill our role in the Church and serve the community in which we live.
We Believe that God wants to heal and transform us so that we can live healthy and blessed lives in order to help others more effectively.
We Believe that our eternal destination of either Heaven or hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ.
We Believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised.
We Believe that sexuality is to be solely expressed in the God defined covenant of marriage between one man and one women.
We Believe that both men and women can be used by God in the five fold ministry gifts found in Ephesians chapter four.
CHURCH VALUES
WE ARE A PEOPLE OF PASSION
Church should be enjoyed not endured. There should be a sound of laughter, a shout of praise, and an AMEN in the room. We bring passion to every meeting, project, and service.
WE ARE LOYAL TO THE FUTURE
We are more loyal to the future than to our past. We will honor the past while doing whatever we can to reach the next generation. We are always looking for an opportunity to empower and release the next and the new.
WE ARE A PEOPLE OF FAITH
Leaning into all God has for us, honoring His Word and believing for more. We are a faith church. We teach people to believe for and receive the promises of God.
WE ARE JOYFULLY GENEROUS
God is good and has an amazing life for everyone of us. This life does not happen by taking, it happens by generously giving. Generosity is our YES back to God. We will never shy away from showing people that it is “better to give than to receive”
WE ARE A HOUSE OF HONOR
We highly value the people God has brought into our lives. We never tear people down but lift them up. We believe God uses people, this means that we treat people with respect and honor. Especially those who teach God's Word.
